About Me…

Hi, I'm Chrissie...

My work is the weaving of a lifetime of lived experience, spiritual devotion, study, ceremony, and the quiet teachings of the body and Spirit. Healing here is grounded in nervous system safety and deep respect for pace. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is forced. Healing unfolds in relationship with readiness.

Whether I'm working with a person or a horse, my approach begins the same way—with listening.

I believe bodies communicate long before they demand our attention. Through tension. Through movement. Through emotion. Through stillness. My role isn't to override that communication, but to become curious about what it's trying to say.

I began working with energy in 2008, following a call I couldn't ignore. In 2015, I entered hospice work as a nurse and family support officer. Sitting with the dying, and the families who loved them, changed me in ways words can only touch. It taught me presence, tenderness, and the sacredness of transition—how to hold space without rushing or fixing. Those teachings live in every session I offer.

When my own health asked me to step away in 2021, it deepened my understanding of the body's intelligence and rooted my work more firmly in somatics, nervous system awareness, and embodied healing.

More recently, that same curiosity has led me into the world of horses.

Alongside my work with people, I have studied equine soft tissue and nervous system release, an recently began study in equine anatomy and conformation. I volunteer each week with horses at a local riding school to continue developing my skills through observation and hands-on practice. Horses have become some of my greatest teachers. They continue to deepen my understanding of nervous systems, tension, regulation, and the wisdom held within the body.

Whether human or horse, I don't believe healing is something we do to a body. I believe it's something we support by creating the conditions for safety, curiosity, connection, and ease.

Today my work bridges the mystical and the grounded—nervous system awareness, somatic and energy-based practices, intuitive listening, and an ever-growing understanding of the body's innate intelligence. I'm a lifelong student, and my work continues to evolve as I do.

My role is not to heal you, or your horse, but to walk alongside you in remembering the wisdom already held within the body. If your path is calling you home—to yourself, or to a deeper relationship with your horse—I'd be honoured to be part of that journey.
